This huge beautiful nesting doll (matrioshka, matryoshka) was painted and signed by Russian artist Sokolova from Moscow in 1997. The art work is very intricate. The set has 30 dolls. The subjects of paintings are different famous Russian fairy-tales. The size of the doll is 15.5 tall and 7.5 diameter.
