This was made by Zaitseva L. We looked for Liudmila Zaitseva but she is famous for other reasons, not as a maker of nesting dolls. On the bottom (pic # 2) it says in Russian: "Made in Russia", Artist Zaitseva L. " and "10m, which we suppose means the total of dolls is 10.

The artwork is outstanding: our pics do not do justice to is. The largest doll is 7 1/2" tall and 5" across and the widest point. The smallest doll sits on top of a penny on pic # 8 so you can compare: it is tiny. The penny also appears on pic # 11. If you need other pics let us know.

The dolls are made of turned wood, as seen on pic # 12.
