Russian Orthodox Style Matryoshka Nesting Dolls. 7 Dolls - 13 pieces total. Three of the dolls have carved out windows in the shape of a cathedral - these frame the icons in the next size doll. The largest doll has the carved out cathedral shapes with an intricate carved out design around the windows on the front. These frame the Madonna and child and two other icons on the next doll, and it also features the famous icon St.

George killing the dragon on the back. Each doll features gold gilding and hand painted designs. 10 icons total on all dolls. 1.25" tall, largest is just over 8" tall. Smallest has writing on the doll, but I don't know what it says. Bottom of largest doll is marked: Caenaho B Poccnn, Abtop Barocaobckaq M.
