Russian, hand carved and painted. Wooden set of 10 nesting BABUSHKA dolls. Height of the biggest doll is 16 cm or 6 1/4 inches. The first one signed by the artist. These dolls are creations of a very skilled and passionate artist who has developed her own style which is very traditional. I also have more Russian dolls from this artist, in my shop. These sets are truly beautiful works of art, finished all round to the highest standard by one of the very best artists in Russia.
