Vintage Russian Hand Painted 10 Piece Matryoshka Dolls. Main Doll is 10 High. This handmade, authentic, 10-piece set of wooden Russian Nesting Dolls are hand-painted in very unique, vibrant colors, accented in gold gilt, and signed by the artist. The dolls are of decreasing size placed one inside the other to reveal the tiniest doll, made from solid wood. They are all crafted from the linden tree.

The largest doll is approximately 10 tall. The dolls have such beautiful faces, with blonde hair, big blue, expressive eyes and very long eyelashes, pink cheeks, and rosy red lips. The colors of teal and blue are unique for Russian nesting dolls.

These colors are offset by teal & pink roses. The gold gilt accents make the colors more rich and bright. Each doll is in excellent condition.

No flaws, scratches, or imperfections. They are varnished to help protect the finish.

Some of the dolls interior wood have some minor damage, but this doesnt affect the nesting of the dolls. Please note that they may wobble a bit - that's how they're made.
