A Stunning Vintage 1999 Signed Russian Fairy Tale Baba Yaga 12 Pc Nesting Doll Painted Lacquer Moscow. This is a beautiful set of 12 dolls all well-detailed on a background of shimmering gold. I believe this to be the tale of Baba Yaga because of the flying carpet and the Firebird in the cage. The piece is signed and the signature looks like Abouro Mockba-Moscow.

The approximate measurement of the largest doll 10 ¼ tall and the smallest 5/8. The condition of the nesting doll is very good to excellent pre-owned condition.

Some lacquer loss on the base-see photo. Some of the gold accents on the back are lighter in places.
