Hello dear customers, offering for sale a rare 2008 limited special edition of traditional Russian Matryoshka nesting doll. Special issue for Toronto 2008 Olympic games city candidate.

Hand painted dolls in full set, the dolls presenting different olympic mascots and logos during the years. Smallest one with Moscow 1980 Misha mascot and bigger one with Toronto Olympic emblems. Set also including: Athens, Sydney, Atlanta, Barcelona, Seoul, Los Angels, dolls. It is excellent preserved with some paint scratches and yellowing on biggest Toronto doll. Inscribed at Toronto doll,''By athletes to athletes'' In my opinon this was presentation set, presented to an important officials during some of the IOC congresses, never released to the market.

Measures: 10''h x 5'' diameter biggest one, smallest 1.6''h. Originate from private collection of ex-president of NOC Bulgarian Olympic Committee.
