Handpainted and Signed Russian Nesting Doll, Czars of Russia, Antique & Unique

  
This is an exquisite hand painted nesting doll depicting 10 Czars of Russia. Petersburg Art Academy about 30 years ago and is one of a kind.

The art work is beautiful and meticulous, done by one of the artists at the Academy and is signed. I have never seen one like it.

It was made before the end of the Soviet Union. Each doll is a complete work of Art and looks best to display them all instead of nested in the largest doll.

The photographs simply do not do them justice. I have spent a lifetime collecting art and this is one of the most unique items I have come across.

You will not be disappointed with the quality of these dolls, it is not a cheap souvenir. The colors are against a black and gold background with the name of the Czar and the date he or she reigned. As there is nothing to compare with these dolls I have trouble settling on a price for such a priceless object. I think the price is fair and reflects the fine art quality of the piece.
