An estate find, rare vintage Russian USSR Soviet nesting doll, hand made and hand painted nesting doll or matryoshka, circa 1990, brought from Russia in 1992. Seven piece with images of Eltzin with the slogan "Russia" or , Gorbachev, Brezhnev, Khrushchev with the corn leaves, Stalin with the pipe, Lenin, and the last Tzar Nikolai. Very rare in it's complete presentation of ALL major Soviet political figures and the last Tzar Nikolai.

Hand made and hand painted. Original inventory number and sale's label "Made In Russia" are attached to the bottom. A unique historical piece of political art!

Will make a great addition to any collection of Russian and Soviet art and memorabilia! Never been used, stored in a smoke free green house for 20+ years. Size of the largest doll is 8 3/8" size of the smallest doll is 1 3/8".
