NEW-5 pc matryoshka russian art nesting dolls-baba yaga-witch-signed-halloween
This is a beautiful baba yaga rare russian nesting art doll set of 5 - these are exquisite! Painted in very fine detail - there must be the story of the baba yaga on the 5 - the tallest is 11 1/4" tall and about 5" across, the rest are 8", 5 3/4", 4 1/4" and the littlest is 2 1/2" tall and weigh by themselves about 1 1/2 lbs. Each one is signed or tells what it is - i didn't have enough photos for the bottom of the smallest - they are highly lacquered and also have gold paint on the details - i hope you can see them okay - i bought this new from a russian dealer years ago - i opened it when i first received it to make sure they were all there and it has been in a locked glass cabinet since then - i opened it to take the photos - an awesome collectible for any halloween or witch fan who loves the baba yaga story or anyone, really - will go priority - it is so rare, i haven't ever seen another one like it - it would be the highlight of any collection!
