RUSSIAN HANDPAINTED UNUSUAL NESTIING DOLL (MATRYoshka). Up for sale this beautiful and very unique Russian nesting doll. It is a set of 5 hand painted wooden dolls with unique design. It is signed by the artist.

This artist worked in a variety of styles, but his most important and famous works concentrated on the exploration of pure geometric forms and colors and their relationships to each other and within the pictorial space. This doll is a good representation of his work and ideas.
