7 Pc Vintage Matryoshka Icon Wood Nesting Dolls with cut out cathedral windows on two dolls. 7.5" H x 3.5" W. Each piece is signed by the artist. Set has light signs of use.

Large madonna doll fits together very tightly. There are spots on the seams where you can see the lacquer has some chipping. Shown close in last photos. I have hand sanded the interior to make it a little easier to open and close the madonna. There is also a hairline crack in the wood on the top of the largest piece.

It's an older piece and natural wood can commonly do this.
