Welcome to The Curious Crow. HAND PAINTED RUSSIAN NESTING DOLL.

The largest doll is 12" tall and the smallest is 7/8". I think the painting depicts scenes from the Russian fairy tale, Ivan Tsarevich and the Firebird. The dolls are beautifully painted and each have a different scene. Signed on the bottom - made in Sergiev Posad. Some lacquer chipping around the edges where the dolls separate, but nothing that detracts.

There are also tiny bubbles in the clear coat layer. Overall in very good condition.
