Vintage Russian Wooden Matryoshka Nesting Doll Winter Motif, Yellow Green and Multicolored, Signed 5 Piece. Hand painted and hand crafted from birch wood with absolute beauty.

Each of them depicts scenes of winter festivities. The face of the dolls is gorgeous! Done is traditional Russian lacquer-ware called Khakhloma. This lovely Russian dolls was hand painted with floral multicolored design and gold accents.

The skilled artisans used the smallest brushes to add detail. From the blue-eyed mother matryoshka face to the tiniest one. Measures of the largest doll (approximately): 6.5" tall and 3" wide (at widest). Smoke and pet free home. I try my best to describe every item accurately, but occasionally I can miss something.
